如何通过被动式的设计手段改善我国亚热带地区夏季室外步行空间的热环境状况是本文主要关注的问题.文中通过提出无效阴影区、有效阴影区、热调节有效阴影区等相关概念,架构起了阴影区理论的基本原理,继而进一步明确了依据阴影区原理的亚热带地区商业步行街外部空间生态设计步骤及相关的测定方法,为亚热带地区商业步行街外部空间的生态设计提供一种新的思路.

This article mainly concerns problem is how to improve the thermal environment in the outdoor walking space in summer in the subtropical zone in China by passive design. The fundamental principles of shadow area theory is built by given some related conceptions such as invalid shadow area, valid shadow area and valid shadow area with thermal regulating. Then put forward a new idea in ecological design for outer space of commercial Pedestrian Street in subtropical zone with a more detailed design steps and related shadow area defining method supported by the shadow area theory.
